Our Story
Broken Rice started with a love for the everyday meals we grew up with—simple, comforting, and made with care. In Vietnamese culture, cơm tấm—broken rice—was once seen as less desirable, but over time, it became a beloved staple. That idea stuck with us: that something imperfect can still be full of value and meaning.
We set out to create a place where people could enjoy those same kinds of meals—grilled meats, fresh rolls, warm rice dishes—served with honesty, care, and a sense of home. But what truly brings it all together is the team behind it. Every dish reflects not just our culture, but the quiet effort and respect shared in our kitchen each day.
Empathy, hard work, and looking out for each other—these are the things that have brought us this far, and the things we hold onto as we keep growing.
